Yohaku Quest

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 10, 2026

Yohaku Quest is designed to add small shifts in perspective to everyday life. As a general policy, personal journal content is not sent to the developer's servers.

Information collected

The developer does not collect a real name, email address, precise location, or other information that directly identifies a user through the app.

The app uses Google Mobile Ads. For ad delivery, measurement, and fraud prevention, Google Mobile Ads may process information such as IP address, device identifiers, approximate location, ad data and interactions, crash data, and performance data.

Information stored on your device

The following information is stored locally: nickname, notification time, quest completion history, optional notes and photos, mood and exploration scores, and sponsor-card impression and tap counts. It is used to show your log, reflections, and app preferences.

Location

The app does not request GPS or precise-location permission. Google Mobile Ads may process an approximate region inferred from information such as an IP address for ad delivery.

Photos

A photo is stored locally only when you choose to attach it to a completed quest. The app does not send journal photos to the developer's servers.

Notifications

If allowed, the app schedules a morning quest notification and an evening log reminder. You can turn them off at any time in the app or iPhone Settings.

Advertising and tracking

A native ad may appear in Reflection and a banner only below the 1mm Log. Ads do not appear on Today, immediately after completion, or in notifications.

The app does not request IDFA permission. Publisher first-party ID is disabled and ad requests specify non-personalized ads. Non-personalized advertising may still use device identifiers for purposes such as frequency capping and aggregate reporting. Google and its advertising partners may process device and ad-interaction information to deliver ads.

In-app purchases

The optional developer support purchase is processed through Apple StoreKit. The developer does not receive payment-card details.

Deleting data

In the app's Settings, choose “Delete all logs and settings” to remove locally stored quest logs, photos, notes, mood scores, and notification settings.

Contact

For questions about this policy, data deletion, or in-app purchases, email nb75km@anshin-tech.com.

Future changes

If the app later adds cloud sync, an AI API, analytics SDKs, or changes its use of advertising SDKs, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosures will be updated.
